Brief The launch of a new urban, housing development as a lively, community-focused destination with cricket at its heart.

Response We curated, produced and event managed all aspects of ‘The Big Summer Bash’ for our clients Urban and Civic. Working in partnership with their PR agency, this was the official launch event for U&C’s Alconbury Weald housing development and cricket pitch.

A host of Cambridgeshire residents and guests were entertained at this quintessentially British, summer event with an inaugural cricket match on the brand new pitch, cricket coaching sessions, baking masterclasses, face painting, vintage food trucks, side-shows and live music.

Guest of honour and former Huntingdonshire MP, The Rt Hon Sir John Major KG CH officially opened the new pitch, alongside former England cricket stars Charlotte Edwards and Lydia Greenway.
